Social Media is used in variety of ways: To entertain, to advertise, just say whats on your mind, give people updates on certain events or things, it has limitless ways of how you want to use it just depends on who you want to communicate to and how
Who uses it?
Social media is used by many people, they can be teachers, students, parents, practically anyone who has access to the internet can use it or is using it.
Do you like it/dislike it?
To be perfectly Honest I’m not all that social, but I’m not against social media, it’s a great way to connect to people if they aren’t close to you or to just speak your mind for whatever reason you need to.
Is it useful?
I find it highly useful and totally useless depending on the situation and or who uses it. You’ll find all type of people in social media, you have your professional people, students, parents, your trolls /flamers.

Yes I use social media, but for entertainment purposes.

Social media itself can’t be expanded on since it’s the now thing of today, it will be expnded but as for how im not sure, nor can I speculate on it.

No socil media is not outdated at all

I Think social media at the moment in Libraries is being used incorrectly, it should be focused more on the audience as well as being more user friendly with the patrons/non patrons of the libarary.
They should have it be more appealing and known, instead of only knowing about it if your actively looking for that information.
What types of libraries could benefit from its use?
I think any library that can afford to maintain this (generally the big public libraries/ academic ones will be the biggest benefactor since they have more patrons and resources)
