Blogging 1O1

SO.... I'm creating a blog for the First time since its a requirement for my course at Red river College, so this First post will be about a blog.

A blog is a place where your write down, thoughts, feelings, well basically whatever you want to express to people who may have an interest in what your saying. By the looks of it you need a google account to start one (at least with bloggers.com). From there you create your blog name and url (aka the link to send to people so they can see the blog if they want.) Anyone can use a blog, as long as you have access to a computer, spare time and a topic to write about. The people who generally use it will be either teens who just want to say random things, buisness to contact potential buyers/partners or to send out info in a quick way. Just remember anyone can use it...

we'll I still have no opinion on bloggingg but.... >_> I think if you want a nice design to your blog you better learn some html, that or use the user friendly ones given to you, <_< its kind of like myspace in my view, since u can put some pics, backgrounds, info on yourself, possibly music (yet to test that out). Id probably never use a blog unless requried because personally I dont like saying much and if i need to say it a blog definitly would not be my first choice.

A blog is a good concept for a library because you can put anything and everything on it, keep people updated very quickly, and post events, pictures and the such. Again I compared a blog to myspace so I think it's a tad outdated in the format they use (html) but its still useful and currently I don't know another site that can do all this (well besides facebook and similair things of course). Libraries that can use this would be any, probably smaller ones would be good so they can get the word out (since they probably can't afford big advertisements on buses and the such).
